Stardew Valley is pretty fun. Bronco, whose favorite hobby is baseball porn, is trying his hardest to make Titsville a fantastic farm again (his grandfather was a tad bit more out of his mind at the beginning of the story than we thought). The Harvest Moon comparisons are obviously there, but I see a lot of Breath of Fire in this game as well, including the day/night feature (which isn't isolated to that one series, but feels very similar in this game) and the fishing. I dig it. I'm kind of going at my own pace right now, but it's so far really fun.

I have yet to play Stellaris, so once I actually get going with that (maybe tonight), I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Oxenfree is fantastic, give it a shot if you're looking for something a bit different and/or something that might freak you out.

Dark Souls 3 is TERRIBLE, so I went back to DS2. Loving it.

Everything. :V

The laughably bad balance after a few balance patches, the speedy combat makes roll punishing and such almost impossible, enemies are BB level of aggressive but any weapon but a straight sword is just as slow as it was in DS2, multiple covenants are just plain broke and don't work, the new invasion mechanics turn every invasion into a 3v1 super gank, etc.

I dunno, you say you don't want Persona 5 to dominate the list, but you've gotta be optimistic brah!

Here's my provisonal top 10 (unreleased in italics)

Spoiler :
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Mirror's Edge 2
XCOM 2
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Banner Saga 2
Dishonoured 2

Just downloaded a cellphone game called Ingress. It's rather interesting. I haven't done anything in it yet since it requires actually going outside and interacting with the environment and such, but it seems neat and should help me be more active and such.

I know some folk who are into Ingress. It seems fun but there's also some losers who take it too seriously. Like every game ever, I guess.

I haven't jumped in yet (large install, slow connection, need to free up some space on my SSD, need to get around to installing my backup drives) but I finally caved and picked up Overwatch today. Really looking forward to that, I've liked everything I've seen about it so far.

Great memes too.

Yes. The 3DS is actually a fantastic system with a ton of good games, so hopefully it will be more than just a Pokemon machine. Leave the 3D off, though. That's a stupid gimmick.

So Mirror's Edge came out and I've been playing a bunch of it. The free running is so satisfying when you get your flow on, and I found it's easier now to get that flow going than in the first game where losing momentum sucked a whole lot.

Big E, that most magical of unicorns, has finally started his Pokeyman Y adventure. Comparing it to what I've played of Sapphire/Emerald, I am really loving all the QoL improvements, especially the changes to the EXP Share and how early you get it. Gotta say, though, I did not like that first big city you get to(Satalune?). It makes the towns in Suikoden III look well designed and easy to navigate by comparison. So far, got me a Ralts, a Squirtle, a Chespin, and a Fletchling. I'm also lugging around a Zigzagoon for Pick Up and a ButtDorkPikachu for lightning bolts, but I'll be looking to replace them. And good Pokeymans I should keep an eye out for?

I had X. Haven't really touched it in a long time, but once Sun/Moon comes out, I'll invest the measly $5 a year in Pokemon bank to transfer my shit to Sun. Let me know if you guys want to exchange friend codes (Layfield, I guess I added you ages ago, but you never added mine back). I'm at work so I'll figure out what my code is and post it later.

Your friend code would be a long number in this format: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (I think it's 4 sections of 4). You can find it by going to your friends section in your DS. (I'm still at work or else I'd be more specific).
