That orgy thing cracks me up because why would the series you're cosplaying matter if the clothes are coming off anyway?

My best friend tried to "help" me with my P5 confidant guide. I told her she was a n00b for not knowing they ended at rank 10.

Spoilers regarding Goro:
Spoiler :
In my second run and didn't really notice this the first time, but I like that his phone chat background is gray. Very fitting given his white outfit with the thieves and black outfit otherwise, plus, the gray area of his morality, and the fact that his character isn't "black and white," so to speak.

Giant Bomb did a Persona 5 spoilercast. It's good! But most importantly they took questions from Twitter and mine got in. :3 It's the last one, too. ENDING STRONG

Just listened. They made a lot of good points, but I also disagreed with a few things. So your question was the localization one, then? I actually didn't notice that the adults talked in a more formal, matter of fact fashion until they pointed it out. Well, I did notice Sae. That interrogation dialogue was definitely forced.

Yup, that was me. I agree with them that Sae probably got the worst of it in those interrogation scenes, she was fine otherwise, and other examples like the SIU director are also problem points, but it's hard to say if these are localization issues or weaknesses in the source material.

Looking back at older Persona games, I feel like a lot of Naoto's dialogue in Persona 4 was awkward and obtuse in basically the same ways, especially towards the end.

Especially her all caps text message style... it just made no sense. She wasn't an old person who didn't know how to turns the caps off (I see that all the time on FB) as the game mentioned that she was good with technology. She was also smart and knew correct grammar so it just didn't fit.

Getting back to my NG+ run. Minor Kawakami thing:
Spoiler :
I called her up for a massage after clearing Futaba's Palace, and she mentions training in Victoria. Probably Victoria, Australia, I guess, but the capital of British Columbia is also called Victoria, so of course I couldn't help but think of that.

Spoiler :
Oh? I always thought she said she trained *under* Victoria. In the initial scene, the person answering the phone said it was Victoria's Housekeeping. I'm at the point in the game where all the convoluted crap happens so I haven't picked it up in about a week or two, though.

That probably makes more sense. I'll keep my eye on that next time.

via yer tumblr, I like how Sae's design evolved from "Metal Gear villain" to "literally Futaba's mom" before eventually reaching her final form.

This should probably be in the upcoming games thread but since no one ever talks about these other franchises, I'm throwing this here. There's a new fighting game coming out, with BlazBlue as the main thing, but with 3 other crossover games involved. Persona 4 (not 5) is one of them.

I'm guessing they chose 4 over 5 because Arena and Ultimax were already a thing, but... I feel like that's a bad choice. There's already 2 fighting games involving those characters so give 5 a chance. I'm going to skip this one since I hate fighting games and only played Arena/Ultimax because they were Persona (and I was terrible at them). This seems like too much of the same to bother with just for the Persona parts.

Yeah, I'll pass too. BlazBlue is already an incomprehensible mess so throwing a bunch of Persona 4 characters at it really doesn't help.

I figure there's still probably a new Ultimax thing with Persona 5 dudes on the way despite this, at least if that's still the venue Atlus prefers to use for crossover fanservice. As always, I'll start caring in earnest when they remember Persona 2 exists.

He'd move a lot like Q then.

Q is an amazing character that could single handidly save Street Fighter V. Now that Tekken 7 is getting Geese fucking Howard, SFV has some catching up to do.

I'm still waiting for P3:DAN (they actually hinted that they would do that if P4:DAN sold well, so it's not impossible).
