Yeah, those ones often get me too, but they're boring, so I haven't resorted to that myself yet.

3 new songs got added to the concert hall but they're not really my jam. I have enough to buy another new one, but since I already bought 2 and like my current music set-up, I'm going to save up for the next update.

I've not really had much trouble on attack, but that may be due to running a flier squad meaning obstacles like forests and mountains don't count as additional obstacles.

I might have to try that. My attack rate is more like 50/50 it feels like. I just always worry about archers like Brave Lyn, L!Lucina and L!Alm. Combine them with dancers, and a flier party is toast. But you're finding that approach mostly successful in your experience? What is your usual offence line up?

My lineup is Eir / Aversa / Laegjarn / NY!Azura / Loki. Loki doesn't fly obv, but her weapon restricts ranged units she's in line with to one space movement. Doesn't stop them being danced, but can be handy to restrict the number of charging opponents. She also has really high attack for a staff unit which can help soften armors.

Laegjarn has Iote's Shield as her sacred seal, meaning she can bait archers all day with her high defense. If I'm careless units like L!Lucina can fly around and zap my units but for the most part I feel in control.


First pull on the new banner got me Summer!Ursula, she's -ATK/+RES which I feel is pretty bad but she is my first dagger cavalry I think. Could be a solid debuffer but I'm not in a hurry to do anything with her.

I keep pulling unrelated breakers, this must be four or five in a row. New banner gave me Velouria.

The new calendar for FEH is out, and you all probably noticed that they broke the pattern of "new regular heroes" "new seasonals" this month by putting 2 new summer banners in a row with no normal one in between. Well, next we'll have back to back new normal hero banners (one of which will undoubtedly be 3 Houses) which means back to back forging bonds. Oh, and the mythic banner is smack in-between. Joy! Good thing I've been saving orbs.

Depending on what the other new hero banner is, I might skip Soren after all, ironically, since he's the raisin I've been saving. Problem is, info is leaked about the confirmed legendaries on the banner, and he'll share a color with Fjorm (the free one) and L!Azura (who I already have) assuming he's even on it (but I think he will since Greil/Mist shared a color in the Valentine banner, so one of them should be skipped). Not liking those odds. If L!Tiki were one of the other blues instead, I'd bite. But on the other hand, normal characters are in the normal pool after, and he is not... ugh.

There's also a new tap battle that finally isn't a repeat, too. Don't care for the mode, but with that and the 2 forging bonds, that's like 20 new accessories. I hope we get timeskip!Edelgard's headpiece in the 3 Houses FB event.

Edit: Also, I have 0 of the next tempest trial bonus units at 5*. I can suffer until I get the free unit on the third day, as I sometimes do, or, is it worth upgrading regular Roy to 5* with his refine? I assume Cecilia and Gwen are still garbage?

If you have the feathers for it and you're going to use the TT unit, you get them on the first day at 4 stars so you could insta-5 them and start running them from there. I've done that in the past.

Hmm, don't know that I'll use her enough to justify the feathers, but that's an idea, thanks!

Yeah, I saw the article about most characters being able to romance with either gender, which is pretty great! Fates had an issue with that, since Niles was the only option for the male avatar (and he was a pervert) while Rhajat was the only option for the female one (and she's a creepy stalker) so it obviously painted the queer options in a bad light. I skipped them because I didn't want to miss out on the child units, because I have to recruit everyone. Kid units aren't an issue here, though!

Edit: Also, she is adorable... I think I might have a hard choice between Edelgard and Dimitri, with this new info and his sexy timeskip eyepatch.

Speaking of, slowing going through FE Warriors. Still bad at it. Got frustrated because this NPC I want to save keeps dying (it's not required to beat the stage, but it's a sub-quest and I'm a perfectionist) and part of the issue is that I have to activate a dragon vein to get rid of lava that quickly saps the HP of anyone on it but the fucking map doesn't show where the fucking dragon vein is, so... I watched a Youtube video and even that player failed that sub-quest. Guess I should take that as a sign? Maps are replayable later so maybe I'll just do it at a higher level and cheese it.

I won another AR defense, and this time it wasn't against the Askr trio! I recorded it for posterity. Summer!Cordelia often seems to be the one doing work even though her stats are roughly equivalent to Summer!Robin who gets beat up more than not.

After fighting a Summer!Laevateinn in arena I was reminded how much I like her tome animation (the wave across the screen with little fish in it) so I did a couple of cheeky pulls and managed to snipe her

She's now in my next list of trainees, alongside Summer!Ylgr and Fiora.

Finished my previous group, final assessment is:
Reinhardt is good, but I shouldn't use him to tank anything because he's so slow he always dies. I'm used to mages that can tank other mages haha.

Bartre is a huge pile of attack power, and with his PRF takes 12 damage after each engagement making him a great Vantage unit with his big hits. Also having armor type advantage is nice on him.

Karel is like a worse version of the rest of that family. He doesn't have the speed of Fir or Karla and even though he seems to have okay defensive stats he feels like he's made of paper. Prob not gonna use him ever again.

Bunny!Loki is mostly fine, probably deadly in a flier team, but I don't know where I'd take her over Kinshi!Hinoka. Her dialogue is pretty fun.

I raised Fiora today. Her voice was surprisingly deep in conjunction with her art, like it doesn't fit, in my opinion.

Also cheesed the new bound hero battle map with bird emblem. I'm so glad I risked it for Tibarn.

Edit: Just noticed that Naesala is a bonus unit for the next arena season. Bird emblem is gonna tear that bitch a new one!

Pulled a +spd Soren as my free pull from the new power banner so I finally changed the IV of my existing one, and he's +8 now!

Only surprise I guess is that female Byleth isn't the GHB. They said that male Byleth would be summonable after the free one came out, so many assumed he'd be part of this banner. Maybe *he's* the GHB and they meant summonable by grails? But that's hardly a reward for buying Three Houses if everyone gets him free in the GHB anyway, so we'll see.

Edit: Went into the game and the in-game notifications say the GHB is Kronya.

I was planning on sniping hard for Edel and I'll probably still totally do that, especially with that skill loadout making her look very much worth the extra effort, at least on paper. But I kinda want Claude and F!Byleth just as much so now I'm wondering if my stockpile of 400 orbs will be enough.

...Claude's goofy arrow toss before taking his shot. And I really like F!Byleth's attack/special art. Edel will take priority but the others will get their turn in my gatcha pulls eventually even for those little raisins.

e: I assumed the GHB would be Sothis if it ain't gonna be F!Byleth. Maybe they're holding her off 'til the next banner or Tempest.

Most people seem to be predicting Sothis for the Mythic. But others say it's too early and it would be a spoiler, but... we already don't know who Kronya is so I don't think they care about the spoiler angle so much.

I'm totally into everything about Claude except that he's a bow cavalier, that's pretty crowded on my roster.

To be fair, I don't think it was until very recently?

Brave Lyn started it, and she's been on enough banners that I think everyone has her now. But Valentine Roy is pretty rare and I never see anyone using him. Until the free Louise, I think they were it for a long time. Now we have Sue and Summer Wolt as green bow cavaliers, but I have neither of them, and I don't see people using them much either. Am I missing anyone? That's only 5 (not counting Claude yet), with 2 being seasonal locked.

So yeah, I don't mind bow cavaliers, since the 3 that I have are still far fewer than say, red infantry sword users (Byleth) and green axe users of any type (Edelgard). But... is he good enough to compete with Brave Lyn? Otherwise, why bother? I guess I'm more disappointed that he's colorless. Has anyone else noticed that we *still* have no red bow users yet? I can think of 4 green bows off the top of my head and 2 blue ones now.

I think Shinon would be a good fit for a red infantry bow user, but we're probably not going to get another Tellius banner for a while now, with 3 Houses being new.
