That's actually pretty impressive. Also hearing Rob Zachny describe Bon Appétit as the GiantBomb of cooking shows has me interested it checking it out.
I'm pretty sure I sent Legion for that and he came out fine, so maybe that's just the biological factor, a machine intelligence wouldn't be as likely to stick their head out and take one to the dome like Tali did. Since I didn't lose anyone, I never saw the "photon torpedo coffin" moment in the end cutscene - figures Mass Effect would pull that
Other than that one casualty, it was a good solid run. Bring on ME3 - plus The Arrival DLC, which I never actually played, so I'm looking forward to that.
(Was Tali playable in ME3 or just a guest character? I can't remember.)

Spoiler :
Tali is one of the crew, so there's gonna be an empty spot in his squad the whole game. The whole Quarian vs Geth homeworld decision is going to lose some impact now, and also now there is no way to get the two races to cooperate and so he'll have to consign one or the other to destruction.
I believe it was Samara as the second squad leader that caused Tali to die there, though I wouldn't have thought she'd be a fail choice on that. I've definitely run Tali through the vents and she's lived though.
Good episode, can't wait for ME3.

Spoiler :
Samara is a certified Justicar Super Loner with a duty to kill anyone and everyone and sacrifice anyone and everyone to accomplish her mission, she's no "bring 'em home!" squad leader. Everyone stresses experience in the scene, so I get why the choice was made.
But no one ever thought experience would make Zaeed "The end of all my stories is everyone dying but me" Masani a great leader either. Hm.

I still have mad respect for Zaeed after he managed to somehow dodge death flags on my "kill everyone" ME2 ending. I wanted to go into ME3 with the least people possible, had it down to just Zaeed and the two with me at the final boss. Told Zaeed to hold the door on his own, the mad bastard somehow did this and got back to the Normandy. Incidentally it was good that he did since I didn't realise I needed two crew to survive in order for Shep to live for ME3.
that opening parachute bit is maybe still the best Giant Bomb moment of 2019

Yeah between the visual of the faceplant and Abby's exasperated "VINNY!", it was the perfect way to learn that you shouldn't accelerate into the ground with your parachute.

And the glitch-out section is up there too. That's maybe actually the worst I've seen a game go to hell in recent memory. Far worse than any Bethesda thing, even. I wonder how common that is for GTA Online 'cause fuckin' yikes.
also my giant beastcast mug preorder has shipped can't wait to drink soup or vore cereal out of that thing or something 'cause it would take way too much coffee to fill it.

Yeah worst glitch goes either to the weird rubberbanding Vinny experienced or the fog of madness that enveloped Dan and Abby that one time.
