You are. It hasn't started yet. It'll change the text to the current gauntlet once it starts, which I think is tomorrow.

Okay, cool. I keep thinking it's going to be something like the events in KOF98 UM OL where there's a few hours window that I keep missing or something.

I pushed myself a little to get up to 30k in the Tempest Trial since it rewards a Love!Eliwood. I have a 4-star version of him that I was levelling, but I guess now I can move to the 5-star version... unless he has some good skills to pilfer :pac

My rule of thumb when it comes to the Tempest Trials is that I shoot for that 5-star hero as a minimum. Another 10k points above that, lately, has been a unique seal, so that's my new goal.

Worst case, though, if you've only been able to earn a 4-star version of the hero, you can always promote them later.

With only a few fighters at 40 till recently, the higher tiers of the trial were a bit rough. By the next time it comes around I reckon I'll be in a good spot though.

I can never usually pull out more than the 4* in trials, but if there's a unique seal that sounds cool I definitely at least try to push my way to that, too.

I need a stronger core team for tempests so I can just autobattle my way through as much as possible.

Another legendary summon event is coming.

Image

Like last time, it's a base 8% focus with non-focus 5* heroes set to zero.

I think everyone also gets Legendary Ike for free pretty soon/now.

The Legendary Ike is out, and he's got me twisted... like I want to vore him for his skills but he has six that I want, but he's also the earth elemental hero and has a distant counter weapon and I should probably just use him instead of eating him! :pac

I burned 100 orbs pulling in the new event, focusing on green and luckily got Gunnthra who I was after - now I have water, earth, and wind elemental heroes so I can build teams around each of them. Gunnthra is totes going to be a cavalry team since I have Sigurd who's pretty great. Not sure who else fills the last two slots there.

Oh - random aside - I have Nephenee and really enjoy using her, but it kind of bothers me that she's all "I'm just a country girl y'all" but then has like one of the fanciest looking outfits in the game!

Yeah I'm not eating Ike... :pacdown

I haven't even looked at Ike yet since I have so many red sword users at level 1 and no other colors. Had no luck with the new banner, either.

You may as well grab him, it's an easy fight (lvl 15) and he has a couple things you could steal if you wanted to vore him:

(A) Warding Breath
Res+4 if attacked, cooldown charge +1 per attack

(B) Seal Atk/Def 2
After combat inflick Atk/Def -5 through next action

(C) Def Tactic 3
Def +6 to allies within 2 spaces, only if there are 2 or fewer of that unit's move type in the team.

Plus he has a locked weapon (ranged counter), and Radiant Aether (def/res -50%, restore 50% damage as HP).

Dude is basically set up without any inheritance required, the main challenge seems (to me) to be building a mixed team to make use of that C skill.

Finally pulled that V-Day Lyn, so along with Christmas Tharja I now have two armoured mages for my armour team. And the new Lyn comes with Armour March for mobility in formation. That's gonna be a fun pair to build around.

I think I'll try to score a Mia from the new banner and hope the RNG doesn't curse me with a Leo.

Oh, that's not what I meant. I got him, but I can't really use him unless I make an all-red team.

Edit: Also at an annoying crossroads. Do I spend my orbs attempting to get the last 3 Valentine's Day people? Or Hardin to complete my possessed collection? Or the legendary banner where I still need most people and the success rate is higher? I've been bouncing between the 3 and have gotten no luck recently.

FEH won an award at DICE so everyone gets 20 orbs and 2018 feathers as a celebration.

Attempting to get three 5-star characters with the 3% draw rate seems an exercise in futility, unless you're hella lucky.

Shadow Robin it is for the gauntlet. And holy shit, it's no contest between him and regular Robin. I wish my phone could screenshot more easily, but Shadow Robin is ahead by 1,000,000.

Apparently all the Shadow versions are dominating this gauntlet. I backed regular Celica and it's not going great.

Pulled the legendary Ephraim and a Leo. I wish these 8% banners would last longer.

Shadow Robin is now pretty tied due to the multipliers.

Lucky! Had 20 orbs today, and a whole run of blue/green, which were the colors I wanted to pull. Nada.

Yeah I'm surprised, most of the battles are getting really close after an early runaway from the Fallen variations.

I got 4 star Tiki and Nowi (both +ATK/-RES) in some of my speculating, so I decided to pull for Fallen!Robin to round out a dragon team. My cavalry team with Gunnthra is looking really nice now too. Sigurd was just kinda strong for me for most of his life, but now that he's 40 he's become a monster - between close defense and his weapon/ability magic tanking he's a really strong unit in both phases, espeically once Priscilla gets enough SP for fortify cavalry.

Nowi is excellent and worth promoting to 5-star. There are two regular Tikis, though. Young and adult, which are different. It's kind of hard to tell which is which with their character portraits unless you have both.

I'm backing vanilla Celica who now appears to have pulled ahead by a couple million.

I have an Adult Tiki I've been thinking about promoting. I don't have any 5* dragons yet, but... also not sure if I need any.
